WHAT’S NEXT

Thanks to your faithful support and encouragement, we were able to finish filming and editing of the first part of L’aube se lève in November of 2019.
L’aube se lève means: Dawn rising, and tells the story of the founders of Haven of Hope; a missionary couple from Michigan who are in the process of establishing a transition home for survivors of extreme sexual assault in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Parts two and three of this documentary are yet to be made and we are hoping to be back in the Congo as soon as we are able to continue filming.

If you have it on your heart, you can help us produce parts two and three by becoming a story partner and join us in raising awareness of the redemptive work that God is doing through Haven of Hope in the Congo. For His glory and the good of His people.

We are also currently in the process of finishing up the final draft of Katrina’s documentary. Our goal is to share it with you by the end of August/beginning of September 2020. (Katrina is running a soup kitchen for children in one of the poorest communities in Namibia. She is also helping free young women from poverty, prostitution and alcoholism by teaching them how to make crafts and sell them to make an honest and dignified living.)

Because of current events (Covid-19 Lockdown), we have not been able to travel for filming this year (yet) — but we are looking forward to begin filming our first local story (Wisconsin, USA) this fall, God willing. I will be sharing more about that with you soon!
